Ryan and Meghan’s engagement session at Blandy Experimental Farm in Clarke County, Virginia was the perfect mix of peaceful scenery and genuine laughter. With its open meadows, tree-lined paths, and soft evening light, the State Arboretum created a beautiful natural backdrop for photos that felt relaxed and timeless. It was so much fun capturing their fun, lighthearted personalities as we explored the grounds together.
Their story goes all the way back to middle school, where they first dated in the 8th grade. Years later, life brought them back together, and after three years of dating, Ryan planned a heartfelt proposal to begin their next chapter together. They joked that they’re not always the most affectionate in photos, but they were sure willing to try every poses and there was plenty of laughter along the way. I’m so excited to celebrate with them again at their May 2026 wedding at the beautiful Gable Five venue, and to capture even more moments from their next chapter together!
