Hi, we’re Christin and Joey, the husband-and-wife team behind Joseph Paul Media. While creating beautiful images and films is what we do, creating an exceptional experience is what matters most to us.
We believe the best photographs and films begin long before the wedding day—with trust, genuine connection, and an understanding of what matters most to you.
Christin will be your main point of contact throughout the entire experience, from your first inquiry to the final delivery of your photos and films. Together, we work closely with each couple to ensure every detail is thoughtfully cared for.
On your wedding day, we’ll guide you with confidence while giving you the freedom to simply enjoy each moment. We’ll step in with gentle direction when needed, while also knowing when to step back and allow the genuine moments to naturally unfold.
Our goal is for you to feel completely at ease, knowing your memories are in the hands of a team who truly cares about telling your story beautifully and authentically.

1.INITIAL MEETING
Every great experience begins with a conversation. We'll connect to learn more about your wedding vision, answer your questions, and discuss what matters most to you. This is an opportunity to ensure we're the perfect fit before moving forward.
2.BOOKING
Once you've selected your collection, a signed agreement and retainer officially reserve your wedding date. From there, you'll receive helpful resources, guidance, and support as we begin planning your photography experience.
3.planning
As your wedding day approaches, we’ll thoughtfully prepare for the moments that matter most to you. We’ll discuss your photography priorities and, when possible, visit your venue together to envision how your day will unfold. I’ll work alongside you and your planner to ensure your coverage feels natural and unhurried, so you can be fully present and enjoy your celebration.
4.The wedding
This is where your only job is to celebrate! On your wedding day, we arrive early, prepared, and calm, allowing the day to unfold naturally while capturing every moment and detail with intention.
5.deliver memories
Within one week, you’ll receive at least 50 preview images to relive some of your favorite moments from the day. Within 3–8 weeks, your carefully curated online gallery will be delivered, filled with the moments that made your wedding day unforgettable. Each image is thoughtfully edited with care, creating a timeless collection you’ll cherish for generations to come.

How far in advance should we connect?
Most couples reserve their date 8–16 months in advance, especially for popular wedding seasons and weekend dates. We recommend reaching out as soon as you have your venue and wedding date secured so we can ensure we’re available to capture your celebration.
Do you travel for weddings?
Absolutely. While we are based in the DMV area (Washington, DC, Maryland, and Northern Virginia), we thoughtfully serve weddings throughout the East Coast and select destinations beyond.
Travel within our primary service area and select destinations is included in our collections.
How much can we expect to invest in wedding photography?
Every wedding celebration is unique, and your photography and videography experience should be thoughtfully tailored to reflect it.
Your custom collection is designed around the details of your day, including your wedding date, season, location, desired coverage, and whether you are interested in photography, videography, or both.
8 Hour Photography collections begin at $4,500.
8 Hour Videography collections begin at $3,750.
Combined photography and videography collections begin at $7,750.

Yes! Every wedding collection includes high-resolution digital images delivered through a beautiful online gallery. From your gallery, you can easily order professional-quality prints, canvases, and other keepsakes delivered directly to your door.
If you're looking for something truly timeless, we also offer custom-designed heirloom albums—crafted to beautifully tell the story of your wedding day and preserve your memories for generations to come.
Can we choose our own music for our highlight video?
We use a curated library of professionally licensed music, as popular songs cannot be used due to copyright restrictions. While we thoughtfully select each track, we are happy to discuss your preferred style. Trusting our artistic approach is an important part of creating a cohesive, cinematic film that reflect your wedding day.
