I was so excited when Kaitlyn reached out about scheduling family portraits, especially because I had just been thinking a few days prior about how fun it would be to capture their sweet family. It felt like perfect timing, and I couldn’t wait to make it happen. We chose Long Branch Historic House for their session — one of my absolute favorite locations for its timeless charm and beautiful scenery.

What made this session even more special is that we had the honor of capturing their wedding video back in 2019, so getting to see their family grow over the years and step into this new season of life was incredibly meaningful. This is one of the things I love most about what we do — building lasting relationships and being invited back to document these milestones as life unfolds.

From the moment we started, their session was filled with genuine connection, laughter, and those in-between moments that make family photography so special. Long Branch offers such a perfect backdrop with its open spaces and classic feel, allowing the focus to stay on the family while still adding a touch of elegance to every image. Sessions like this are why I love what I do — capturing families as they are and preserving memories that will be cherished for years to come.
