Robin and Gore’s engagement session in Old Town Alexandria was such a joy to capture. With the charm of the cobblestone streets, historic architecture, and waterfront views, it created the perfect setting for a session that felt both timeless and relaxed. These two brought such an easy, natural energy, making it effortless to capture a mix of refined portraits and genuine, candid moments.
We spent the evening exploring some of their favorite spots throughout Old Town, letting the session unfold naturally while documenting this exciting season in their lives.
What makes their story even more meaningful is what’s ahead. Robin and Gore will be married at St. John’s Episcopal Church in Washington, D.C. — a historic church known as the “Church of the Presidents,” located just steps from the White House. Even more special, this is where Gore’s grandparents were married, making it a truly full-circle moment for their family.
Their celebration will continue at the iconic The Hay-Adams Hotel, an elegant and timeless venue overlooking Lafayette Square. We are so excited to capture their wedding later this summer — it’s going to be an incredible day, and we’re honored to document it through both photography and videography.
