Robin and Gore’s August 1, 2026 wedding was a beautiful celebration of family, history, and their love for the Washington, D.C. region.
Their day began at St. John’s Church, Lafayette Square before continuing to The Hay-Adams for an elegant reception. What made the celebration even more meaningful was an incredible family connection: after choosing their venues, Robin and Gore discovered that Gore’s grandparents had married at those exact same locations in 1932.
They honored that history by displaying the original newspaper announcement from their grandparents’ wedding at their reception—a beautiful connection between two generations nearly a century apart.
Their own story began with a first date in Old Town Alexandria that was meant to be a quick drink but turned into hours of conversation and sharing stories. Their wedding day felt like a natural reflection of that story—elegant, joyful, and deeply personal.
